BIFF Staff


Aideen Ratteray Pryse


A founding member of BIFF, Aideen has served as Festival Director since 1997. Aideen trained as an urban planner, having obtained a Bachelor’s degree at McGill University and a Master’s at the University of Waterloo. She was formerly employed with the Bermuda Department of Planning as Assistant Director (Administration & Control). In addition to her film festival work, she is a member of the board of directors of the Centre on Philanthropy.  


Duncan Hall


Duncan became involved with BIFF in 1997, joined the Festival staff in 2000 – and has served as Deputy Festival Director since 2002. He trained as an attorney, having obtained a Law degree at the University of Victoria. He was called to the Bar of Bermuda and British Columbia, and spent three years as an attorney at Appleby Spurling & Kempe (now Appleby Hunter Bailache). Prior to obtaining his law degree, Mr. Hall worked as a journalist for more than a decade. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from the University of Toronto.
