Our Juries select the winning films in the narrative feature, narrative documentary and short film categories.

The Mary-Jean Mitchell Green Award for Best Narrative Feature is accompanied by a $5000 cash award, while the M3 Wireless Bermuda Shorts Award is accompanied by a $3000 cash award. 

Jurors at BIFF 2008 were director Robert Favreau, producer Charles Bishop, documentary filmmakers Peter Raymont and Linda Hattendorf and short filmmakers Al Seymour Jr. and Ted Bezaire.

Jurors at previous festivals have included actors Carrie Fisher, Richard Dreyfuss, Willem Dafoe, Michael Clarke Duncan, Peter Riegert, Laura Harring, Judy Greer, Karen Allen and Jane Alexander, screenwriters Guillermo Arriaga, Carlos Cuaron and Jeff Arch, and film critics Richard Schickel, David Ansen and Robert Koehler.
